Clyde S. Hupp

Clyde S. Hupp, 85 of Trimble passed away Sunday November 4, 2018 at the Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster.  Born October 30, 1933 in Athens County, he was the son of the late Arthur T. and Minnie Blair Hupp.  He was a Korean War Army Veteran and retired from Meigs Mine #31 where he was an equipment operator.  Clyde was known as a hard worker and a “do it yourself” kind of guy.  

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Dorris Hupp of Trimble; two sons, Mark E. Dellinger of Trimble and Harold E. (Karla) Dellinger of Chauncey; a daughter, Lorrie Blair of Canada; grandchildren, Robert Dellinger, Josh Hooper, Kaylee Dellinger, Amanda Bell, Alisha Andrews, Ashley Dazey, Amber Martin, and Austin Dellinger; eight great grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Hale of Marion; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Charles E. Hupp; a daughter, Ardana Hupp; brothers, Paul, Dayton, and Dean Hupp; and sisters, Bertha Thomas, Alice Smith, and Laura Gibeaut.  

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday November 7, 2018 at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville.  Interment will be in the Glouster Cemetery where there will be a military graveside service conducted by the United States Army and the Combined Color Guard Unit.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.  A comforting message may be sent to the family at
