Carl Turley

Carl R. Turley, 64 of Glouster passed away Friday September 21, 2018 at his residence.  Born August 31, 1954 in Charleston, WV, he was the son of the late Thurman Ray and Alma Eileen Eubanks Turley.  He was a retired Waste Water Treatment Operator formerly working in Columbus and The Plains.  He is a Marine Veteran and a member of the Glouster Eagles.  Carl was an avid fisherman, Pittsburgh Steelers Fan, bluegrass music fan, and enjoyed playing the banjo.

He is survived by two sons, Shawn Turley and Justin (Wendy) Turley, both of Glouster; a step son, Joe Graham of Illinois; grandchildren, Kyle, Alyssa, Shawn Dale, Brandon, Haylee, Eli, Ella, Sophiea, and Colin; a great granddaughter, Delilah Jo; and a sister, Barbara Ann (David) Strouble of Lewisville.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Debra Jo Turley.

An Eagles service will take place at 2 p.m. on Thursday September 27, 2018 with a memorial service immediately following at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville.  Family will accept friends from 1 p.m. until the time of service.  Inurnment will take place at the Hollister Cemetery at a later date.
