Harold Guisinger

Harold D. “Beany” Guisinger, 91, of Glouster, passed away Sunday April 15, 2018 at his residence.  He was born April 6, 1927 in Junction City.  He was the son of the late Denver and Eva Sinclair Guisinger.  He retired from Abex in Athens.  He was a military police WWII Army veteran.  He was a member of the Three-Star Senior Center in Glouster and the Jacksonville VFW.  He was an apostolic minister at the House of Prayer in Drakes, Ohio.  He supported many charities, such as ASPCA, the Wounded Warriors Project and Feed the Children.  

He is survived by one son, David (JoeAnn) Guisinger of New Straitsville; two granddaughters, Rusty (Kenneth Aaron) Dane of Logan and Kendra (Shag) Priest of Newark; three great-grandchildren, Rachael Seals, Kayla (Tylor) Pickering, and Alyssa (Zach Wicker) Priest; two great-great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Ann and Grace Lillian; and a great-great-grandson on the way, Kayden James; one brother,  Mike Guisinger; and two sisters, Barbara Wilson and Frances Guisinger.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Dolores A. Murphy Guisinger; twin great-great-grandsons Kaiser Robert and Jonathan David; brothers James, Bob, Charles, and Joseph; sisters Lila, Midge, and an infant sister Rita.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday April 19, 2018 at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville.  Interment will be the Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster, where there will be a military graveside service conducted by the Combined Color Guard and the United States Army.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm.  Contributions can be made in Harold’s name to any of the charities that he supported.  A comforting message may be sent to www.morrisonfc.com.
