William Morgan

William E. Morgan, 75 of Glouster passed away Wednesday July 19, 2017 at his residence.  Born September 19, 1941 in Morgan County, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Icel Exline Morgan.  He retired from Norfolk and Southern Railroad and was a former member of the Bishopville Masonic Lodge.  William enjoyed woodworking and making crafts, donating many of those crafts to local fundraisers.  

He is survived by 2 sons, John (Chris) Morgan of New Lexington and Jim (Melany) Morgan of Guysville; a son-in-law, Larry Sisson of Glouster; 7 grandchildren, Stephanie (Bob Secoy) Brausey, Samantha (Charles) Conley, Tyler (Larina) Sisson, Ryan (Kerry) Grimm, Brad (Shannon) Grimm, Kaylee (Jason Newlon) McCabe, and Lauren (Tracey Wintermute) McCabe; 10 great grandchildren, Morgan, Kayla, Cooper, Heaven, Daisy, Hunter, Karlee, Kaine, Carter, and Aisley; a brother, Roger Lee (Evie) Morgan of Stockport; a sister, Jean Fox of McConnelsville; special friends, Roger Hogue, Deb Turner, Jerry Dowler, and all of his railroad buddies; and his beloved companion, his dog, Bandit.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Skinner Morgan; a daughter, Libby Sisson; and a brother, James Morgan.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville, with Delbert Turner officiating.  Interment will be in the Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m.  A comforting message may be sent to the family at www.morrisonfc.com.
