Dean A. Kasler Sr., 92 of Glouster passed away Sunday October 1, 2023, at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster.  Born May 23, 1931, in Morgan County, he was the son of the late Bart L. and Sylvia Linscott Kasler.  He was a 1950 graduate of Ames-Bern High School, served on the Board of Directors at the Glouster Community Bank, and was the owner and operator of Kasler Family Farms along with having multiple other jobs.
He is survived by a son, Bart II (Diana) Kasler of Glouster; grandchildren, Bart III (Lizzie) Kasler of Glouster and Harmony (Bryan) Wharton of Athens; great grandchildren, Cooper and Tucker Kasler, Cole, Carter, and Brady Wharton; and a friend, Sherry Harris.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalee McKinley Kasler; and two sons, Mark and Allen Kasler.
Dean’s wishes were to be cremated.  The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville.  A message of comfort may be sent to the family at www.morrisonfc.com.
