Melissa “Agnes” Mae Davis, 50 of Glouster passed away Thursday September 7, 2023, at her residence.  She was born August 1, 1973, in Zanesville.  Melissa was a 1991 graduate of Trimble High School, a member of the Jacksonville Fraternal Order of Eagles 1034, and an avid Browns fan.  She enjoyed karaoke, playing corn hole, spending time outdoors in the sun, and being with family and friends.  
She is survived by her children, Alexander (Rachel) Davis and Chloe Nott; a grandson, Grayson Davis; her father, Herbert Davis; her mother, Jonnie Kay Jerig; a sister, Jeanette (Joseph) Richards; a brother, Herbert “Matt” (Sharon) Davis; nieces, Hallie, Lauren, and Leah Davis, and Shelby Smith; she was known as aunt Tee Tee to Wesley Campbell; and special friends, Jennifer “Jen Jen” Shust, Kimberly Andrews, Diana Fulton, Robin McKee, Jennifer Bulstrom, Melissa “Thelma” Heskett, Keri Raymond, and Gary Nott.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Emma Whitcraft and paternal grandparents, Paul and Velma Davis.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday September 12, 2023, at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville with Rick Seiter officiating.  Interment will be in the Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster.  Visitation will be held on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.  There will be a dinner held on Tuesday following the funeral at the Jacksonville Eagles.  All are welcome to attend.  Contributions can be made to Chix 4 A Cure, 8314 State Route 685, Glouster, Ohio 45732.  A message of comfort may be sent to the family at www.morrisonfc.com.
