Kaye Greenlees

Kaye Kelly Greenlees, 86 of Glouster passed away Saturday August 12, 2023 at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital, Athens.  Born June 4, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Paul R. and Mary Alice Skinner Kelly.  Kaye worked as a real estate agent for various companies and later became a broker and started Greenlees Realty.  She also managed the Carriage Hill Apartments and worked as a Librarian at the Glouster Library and on the Bookmobile.  Kaye loved her children, grandchildren and was a fan of Elvis Presley.  She enjoyed traveling and reading.  Her house was always filled with books.

She married Dr. John P. Greenlees on Feb. 12, 1960 and they had five children, Maggi (Rick Gifford), Beth (Greg Beha), Jackie, Jill, and John.   She has five grandchildren, Kyla, Sarah, Tory, Samy, and Kirbi, several great grandchildren, and several step grandchildren.  She is also survived by a special friend, Sondra Shuttleworth.

In additions to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. John Greenlees; daughters, Jackie and Jill; a sister, Barbara Nichols and a brother Gene Skinner.  
  
Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday August 17, 2023 at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville with Rick Seiter officiating.  Interment will be in the Glouster Cemetery.  Visitation will take place on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. There will be a dinner at the Bishopville Church of Christ following the burial.  All are welcome to attend.
