Donna Mae Hartley, 85 of McConnelsville passed away Sunday July 30, 2023 at her residence.  Born April 7, 1938 in Morgan County, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Carrie Kirkbride Noland.  She retired from Ohio University and enjoyed traveling and doing crafts.

She is survived by her husband, Russell Lyons; daughters, Sherolyn (Chuck) Byers, Debra (Sherman) Glover, Lisa (Damon) Mitchell, and Kimberlea Hartley; sons, Jack (Vicki) Hartley, Timothy (Rachel) Hartley, and Donald (Darlene) Hartley; step children, Tammy (Tom) Rhodes, Tonya Lyons, and Tim (Rita) Lyons; 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sisters, Rosalie Allen, Patty Noland, and Kaye Herbst; and her beloved dog, Bear, who never left her side.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Daniel Hartley; sisters, Barbara Palmer and Faye Marteney; and brothers, David, Elmer, and Larry Noland.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday August 2, 2023 at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville with Jon Hanning officiating.  Interment will be in the Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield.  Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.  A message of comfort may be sent to the family at www.morrisonfc.com.
