Claudia Guffey, 64 of Glouster, passed away Friday July 28, 2023, at her residence.  She was born July 26, 1959, to the late Clyde and Helen Patterson Williams.  She was a retired LPN and a very involved member of the community.

She is survived by one son, Russell Guffey of Glouster; two daughters, Summer (John) Bess of Crooksville and Vanessa (Brian) Orsborne of Glouster; six grandchildren, Brooklyn (Dakota) Smathers, Blaine and Branson Bess, and Briana, Jaylee, and Carson “Luke” Orsborne; one brother, Clyde (Cathye) Williams; and one sister, Colleen (Bob) Davis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Larry Guffey.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday August 11, 2023 at the Glouster Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville.  A message of comfort may be sent to the family at www.morrisonfc.com.
