Kenneth R. Nelson, Jr., 64 of Logan, passed away on Friday November 4, 2022, at OSU Medical Center in Columbus.  He was born January 25, 1958, in Newark, OH., a son of the late Kenneth R. Sr., and Mary Alice Hale Nelson.  He enjoyed fishing and was an avid Ohio State and Cincinnati Bengals football fan.  

He is survived by a brother, Cedric (Joann) Nelson of Newark; sisters Rosemary (Gene) Campbell of Columbus, Rhonda Nelson of Lancaster, and Cheryl (Larry) Hankinson of Glouster; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters Alice Irene Nelson, Roberta Sue Palfrey, and Marjorie McJunkin.

Kenny will be cremated, and inurnment will take place at a later date at Maplewood Cemetery in Glouster.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville.  A message of comfort may be sent to the family at www.morrisonfc.com.
