Daniel "Danny" E. Mulpas Jr.

Daniel “Danny” E. Mulpas Jr., 48 formerly of Zanesville, went to be with the Lord on October 13, 2022, at Hickory Creek Nursing Center in The Plains, Ohio surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on July 18, 1974, in Columbus.  He was a self-taught auto mechanic and enjoyed driving tow trucks.  Danny was a huge car and truck enthusiast, especially when it came to watching MOPAR Nationals and demolition derbies.  He also enjoyed listening to music, going camping, going to country music festivals, and attending county fairs (especially the Barnesville Pumpkin Show).  You would often find him wearing black jeans, a t-shirt depicting the Chevy symbol or a classic car, a trucker hat, and steel-toe work boots.  He would have a cigarette in one hand and a Pepsi in the other, often with a smile on his face.

He is survived by his longtime girlfriend of 15 years, Marie Heath of Zanesville; her son, Josh (Emily) Coil; grandparents, Donald Sr. and Deloris Mulpas of Trimble; two sisters, Darcie L. (Jeffrey) Lutz of Westerville and Donalene E. (Phillip) Paynter of Johnstown; three nieces and one nephew, Hannah (Corey) McCord of Johnstown, Brandon Lutz of Westerville, Heidi Paynter of Lewis Center, and Taylor Lutz of Westerville; three grand nieces, Charlotte McCord of Johnstown, Delilah Snyder of Worthington, and Eleanor Lutz of Lithopolis; a grand nephew, Anthony Minton of Columbus; several aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends, Kevin Matthews, A.J. Rogers, Brian Thomas, Ricky Hill, Kevin Cooper, and many current and past canine fur babies.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel E. and Darlene S. Mulpas Sr.; many grandparents; several uncles, and an aunt.
