Max Eugene Ahle, 71 of Glouster passed away Tuesday September 6, 2022, at the Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital.  Born April 3, 1951, in Glouster, he was the son of the late Alden D. and Lousinia “Lou” M. Boyer Ahle.  Max retired from Ohio University.  He enjoyed playing softball and was an avid Cincinnati Reds and Bengals fan.

He is survived by a sister, Connie Montgomery of Galion; a niece, Shannon Monbeck of Nelsonville; a nephew, Chris (Monica DeSantis) Montgomery of Columbus; and several great nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, John Montgomery.

A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday September 12, 2022, at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 5 p.m. until the time of service.  Interment will take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday September 13, 2022, at the Glouster Cemetery.  A message of comfort may be sent to the family at www.morrisonfc.com.
