Sharon K. Collins, 70 of Trimble passed away Wednesday August 31, 2022, at her residence.  Born October 7, 1951, in Fayette County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Leonard A. and Audrey V. Christy Hill Sr.  Sharon enjoyed attending church and going for drives in the country with Tom.  

She is survived by her husband, Tom Collins; a son, Chuck (Tioni Adkins) Sams; stepdaughters, Judith Vaught and Marvene Chilcote; grandchildren, Brandon (Katelyn) Sams, Larry (Tammy) Hashman, Shelley (Deron) Howery, Garry (Brandy) Hashman, Sherrie (James) Wrenn, and Bobbie (Angela) Hashman, Alberta Royal, Vicki Barron, Jason, Albert and Johnny Chilcote; a brother, Steve Hill; a sister-in-law, Becky Hill; a brother-in-law, John Collins; several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mendy Hill; two infant daughters, Melissa Renee and Julie Ann; grandchildren, Christopher Sams and Susan and Jerry Hashman; siblings, Barb Chapman, Leonard Hill Jr., and Howard and Jenny Hill.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday September 7, 2022, at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville with Pastor Ron Fierce officiating.  Interment will be in the Knollwood Cemetery, Logan.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m.  A message of comfort may be sent to the family at www.morrisonfc.com.
