Kenneth D. Bolyard, 76 of McConnelsville passed away Wednesday August 3, 2022.  Born July 22, 1946, in Union Township, Morgan County, he was the son of the late Robert D. and Nellie Elizabeth Wells Bolyard.  He was an Army Vietnam Veteran and retired from Dollar General Warehouse in Zanesville.  He was a member of the Stockport Church of Christ.  Kenneth loved his church family and reading the Bible.  He also enjoyed woodworking, especially making walking sticks, and loved tending to his tomato plants.  

He is survived by two sisters-in-law, Marlene Bolyard and Patty Bolyard; and several nieces and nephews who loved him like a father.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Blackburn Bolyard; his daughter, Elizabeth Bolyard Mick; his son-in-law, Rodney Mick; and siblings, Patty Bolyard North, John “Mac” Bolyard, Fred “Frog” Bolyard, Judi Bolyard Tullis; and Jerry “Slick” Bolyard.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday August 20, 2022 at the Anderson Cemetery, Morgan County.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville.  A message of comfort may be sent to the family at www.morrisonfc.com.
