Linda S. McPeek, 76 of Chesterhill passed away Tuesday July 26, 2022, at her residence.  Born March 24, 1946, in Athens County, she was the daughter of the late Basil and Alda McCune Dille.  She was a member of the Liberty United Brethren Church.  Linda enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, canning, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren.  

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Roger L. McPeek of Chesterhill; two daughters, Susan (Roger Gage) McPeek Sampson of Chesterhill and Rhonda (Steve) Murphey of Pennsville; a son, Brad Wilfong of Chesterhill; grandchildren, Samantha, Chandler, Christopher, Wanda, Luke, Tyler, Channing, Jordan, and Brandon; great grandchildren, Wheylan, Willow, Dixie Rae, Jodi, Carsen, River Riley, and Decklan; brothers, Basil Jr., Vern, Gary, and Curt Dille; sisters, Beverly Mayle and Eva Allen; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, J.D. Sampson; and five brothers.

Linda’s wishes were to be cremated and there will be a memorial service held at a later date.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville.  A message of comfort may be sent to the family at www.morrisonfc.com.
