Dorothy "Sally" Clonch

Dorothy I. “Sally” Clonch, 87 of Trimble passed away Sunday July 3, 2022, at The Laurels of Athens.  Born November 19, 1934, in Athens County, she was the daughter of the late James and Ruth Barnhart Nelson.  She retired from Ohio University after 25 years of service.  

She is survived by a daughter, Ruth Young of Groveport; three sons, Jerry (Julie) Olbers of Port Angelas, Washington, Joe (Kelly) Olbers of Trimble, and Tom (Sheri) Graham of Trimble; several grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Clonch; and a granddaughter, Katherine Olbers.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday July 6, 2022, at the Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville.  A message of comfort may be sent to the family at www.morrisonfc.com.
