Mary D. Exner, 61 of Millfield passed away Wednesday May 18, 2022, at her residence.  Born October 21, 1960, in Nelsonville, she was the daughter of the late William and Dorothy Edglan Mesaros.  She was employed by Don Wood Automotive.  She was a member and past Madam of the Glouster Eagles Ladies Auxiliary.  Mary was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with her family.  

She is survived by her husband, Timothy L. Exner of Millfield; a daughter, Lillian Ashley Gardner of Millfield; a son, Anthony Gardner of Amesville; two grandchildren, Kaleigh Townley and Aubrie Gardner; brothers, Bill, Mike, Lou, Eddie, and Tony Mesaros; sisters, Rita Alfman, Linda Mesaros, and Betty Charles; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Johnathon Mesaros; her first husband, Bill Gardner; and two sisters, Rose Malcom and Cathy Justice.

Mary’s wishes were to be cremated and there will be a celebration of life held at a later date.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Morrison Funeral Chapel.  A message of comfort may be sent to the family at www.morrisonfc.com.
